The Color Obsctacle Rush is a unique 5k event combining the fun of colour powdered runs, the thrill of an obstacle course and the atmosphere of a music festival.

About the event
After the huge amount of fun we all had last time we did the colour obstacle rush, we're inviting friends, family and anyone else who would like to join us at the 2018 event.
We were lucky enough last year to get a move to a property that has adaptations within the building, that will meet Coles future needs as his condition declines.
The front of the property (which Coles bedroom looks out onto) is unfortunately very open and anyone walking past the front of the house, can see straight into Coles bedroom.
We are wanting to add a wall/fence around the front of the property which will give the area outside his room some much needed privacy, so that he is happy to play in his own bedroom, and in doing so, this will also create an area directly outside his bedroom, that he will be able to access himself, using the ramp that is already in place.
Within this area, we will then be looking to cover the ground with a soft but durable surface material.
This would mean that whilst Cole is still able to walk, he will be able to play there without the fear of hurting himself or causing any serious injury, if he was to fall.
All this obviously comes at a cost, so we will be looking to raise funds via sponsorship from anyone who wishes to take part in the event.
For us as a family it is ultimately about raising awareness of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, and for everyone to have fun.
We do however appreciate, that the price of entry to the event itself is not cheap, and therefore we would suggest, that anyone who wants to take part, could gather sponsors, and then deduct the price of the entry fee from any sponsorship money that they collect.
Hopefully this will open up the event to more people who would like to come and join us this time.
